Warm Brie Rounds
Place rounds of Brie cheese in a 35-degree oven for 10-15 minutes. Serve with apple slices or crackers.
Prosciutto/Melon Wraps
Wrap thick slices of prosciutto around sliced cantaloupe. Thread onto wooden toothpicks.
Salmon/Cheese Squares
Spread thin squares of pumpernickel bread with cream cheese. Sprinkle with fresh or dry dill. Top with thinly sliced
smoked salmon. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Sausage and Cheese Puffs
- 1 lb. hot or mild sausage
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 cups biscuit mix
- Combine ingredients in a bowl. Form into 2-inch balls. Bake at 400 degrees F for 13 minutes or until golden.
- Makes 4 dozen balls.
Taco Popcorn
- 6 cups popped corn (approximately 1/4 cup unpopped)
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. taco seasoning mix
Place popped corn in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, stir together butter and taco seasoning mix. Toss with warm
popcorn and serve.
Easy Salsa Cheese Dip
- 8 oz. medium or hot chunky salsa
- 4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 oz. cream cheese cubed
- Crackers or vegetables (celery, carrots, cucumbers etc.)
Combine salsa, cheddar and cream cheese in medium saucepan. Cook, uncovered, over low heat until cheese melts and mixture is
heated through. Transfer to small serving bowl and serve warm with crackers or vegetables. Makes 1 cup of salsa.
