- Do I have to use special "corking" equipment?
- No, you do not have to have special equipment, but you MUST ensure that the cork is inserted properly and is flush with the top
of the bottle.

- What if someone comes in with a screw top bottle of wine?
- If this type of bottle cannot be corked, you must advise the customer that you cannot seal this type of bottle and therefore,
they are not able to take home the rest.

- What if the patron leaves their wine behind?
- You must dispose of the wine immediately. You cannot store any product that you did not purchase under your licence.

- What if someone is getting intoxicated, and brought their own wine - can I give them back their wine if it is sealed?
- No, if someone is intoxicated, you must follow the same rules and guidelines - you must not serve to intoxication. You
cannot give back to the intoxicated customer their unfinished or unopened wine. It must be confiscated. Be sure to set a house
policy on this, and advise your customers of this policy.

- Can a customer take home the rest if they have purchased beer or spirits?
- No, the Take Home The Rest (THTR) program only applies to wine.

- What if I don't want to take part in the BYOW, can I still offer to reseal wine purchased under my licence?
- Yes, you can offer to reseal wine purchased from you, providing you are able to properly reseal the bottle. You do not
need to apply to the AGCO for this service.

- Can a customer be served their wine at the bar?
- No, only wine purchased under the licence may be served at the bar. This applies if your customer is waiting for a table
for dinner.
